­ The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into a vehicle crash in the 2800 block of Christmasville Road, Jackson, TN, shortly after 6:30 p.m. on August 18, 2013.

According to investigators, the driver of a Chevrolet Colorado pick-up truck was traveling north bound on Christmasville Road when he apparently lost control of the vehicle, ran off the roadway, striking a house, exiting the house and later striking a tree. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver has been identified as John W. Lange, II, age 29, of 45 Millbrook Lane, Jackson, TN. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors to the accident.
