JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Police Department officers responded to 2018 North Highland Avenue at approximately 12:27 p.m., Monday following a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 24-year-old male who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot. The victim is in critical condition and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Investigators with the JPD Major Crimes Unit are currently on scene investigating the incident.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black sedan believed to be occupied by multiple male passengers.
