The Jackson Madison County School Board and the Madison County Commission held a joint work session meeting to discuss technolgy funding needs and communication between the two elected bodies.
Prior to the meeting commissioners submitted questions they wanted the JMCSS Central office to address regarding technology funding needs and long-term planning.

After addressig the questions submitted by commissioners, JMCSS Board Chairman David Clifft went around the table and offered commisoners the opportunity to ask follow-up questions.
Commissioners addressed issues such as
How would the computers, if purchased, by divided through the system
How many computers does the system currently have for students and how many for staff
What type of computers are being bid,laptops or desktops
Are the computers being purchased for Park and Common Core Testing
JMCS Central Office staff and Supt Ruffin willtake the information submitted by commissioner and questions asked at Monday's session and put together a long range plan and presentation for commissioner at a yet to be determined future hearing.
