(November 1, 2013) Jackson TN = Shortly before 11:00 PM Thursday night, Officers were called about a robbery at Pizza Hut, 104 West Chester Street. An employee told them that she was leaving the business when she was approached by a black male who pointed a gun at her and then took her purse.

The employee told officers that the purse contained her personal belongings as well as bank deposits for the restaurant. The employee and a witness gave officers a description of the suspect.
Officers in the area spotted a man running from the direction of the restaurant who matched the suspect's description. The suspect was apprehended behind a business on Airways Boulevard with the help of a police K-9. Officers also recovered property taken during the robbery and a pistol.
The suspect was identified as Darrel McNeal.
He was charged with Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest. McNeal appeared for arraignment in Jackson City Court this morning. McNeal's bond was set at $150,000.
