(October 31, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- The Jackson Transit Authority board discussed a suggestion from a rider at their board meeting on Thursday afternoon. 

The rider suggested the implementation of a day pass that riders can purchase and ride throughout the day. 

General Manager Johnny Gullett looked at other systems that had a day pass system and passed the information on to the board. 

He said that the pass would have to be a very distinct pass that can’t be duplicated. 

The board passed the proposal and will discuss pricing and other details at their next regular board meeting. 

As for the rider who suggested the day pass? He’ll receive a 20 ride pass for his suggestion.
