(October 29, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- Last week, an issue about Malesus Baseball Field was cleared up. 

Dixie Youth uses the field for their baseball program. There was a memorandum of understanding signed for that use. 

Since their season ended, travel teams wanted to practice on it, but had trouble gaining access to the field. 

Jackson Parks and Recreation department will hire a part time person next year to open the fields for other when Dixie Youth has completed their season. 

The solution deals with scheduling concerns and maintenance issues that were also an issue in discussions.
