Toyota Motor Manufacturing’s Jackson facility remains closed through April 17
Toyota Motor North America statement –
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and decline in vehicle demand, Toyota is further extending the length of its production suspension at all of its automobile and components plants in North America, including Canada, Mexico and the U.S.
The manufacturing facilities – which includes Toyota Motor Manufacturing at 301 James Lawrence Road in Jackson – will remain closed through April 17, resuming production on April 20.
Our service parts operations and finished vehicle logistics centers will continue to operate in order to continue meeting the needs of our customers. We will continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
Waffle House temporarily closes 365 restaurants due to COVID-19
Waffle House is temporarily closing 365 restaurants due to the COVID-19.
The four Waffle House restaurants in Jackson are not affected, but it’s carry-out only at 85 Parkstone Place in Park Place East, located off Dr. F.E. Wright Drive between Taco Bell and Holiday Inn Express, 1724 South Highland Ave., 2314 N. Highland Ave., and 24 Casey Jones Lane.
The company said 1,627 restaurants will remain open.

Bingham Nerve & Muscle closes for 2 weeks due to COVID-19
From Bingham Nerve & Muscle –
As of March 23, 2020, Bingham Nerve and Muscle – 3035 North Highland Avenue – will temporarily discontinue services because of COVID-19.
Located throughout Tennessee, the clinics will be closed until April 3, 2020 (two weeks).
The CDC has recommended that all non-emergent tests and procedures be postponed but tests are being scheduled for dates beginning April 17, 2020 and beyond, according to a news release.
