[Jackson, TN] – On February 23, 2025, at approximately 6:59 p.m., officers from the Jackson Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting that a pedestrian had been struck in the vicinity of Carlos Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a 56-year-old male lying unresponsive in the middle of the roadway near Highway 70, suffering from life-threatening injuries. The initial investigation, which included scene evidence and witness statements, revealed that the victim was wearing dark clothing and was lying in the roadway prior to being struck.
