PARIS, Tenn. — The City of Paris is celebrating the success of Tennessee River Jam 2026, which brought an estimated 17,000 visitors to Downtown Paris on Saturday, June 6.

According to location analytics and foot traffic data, approximately 17,000 people visited downtown throughout the day. At the event’s peak, an estimated 13,000 people were gathered downtown simultaneously just before headliner Jamey Johnson took the stage.

Organized by the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee River Jam featured performances by Jamey Johnson, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Hoosier Daddy, drawing visitors from across the country and creating an unforgettable atmosphere in the heart of downtown.

“The turnout and energy throughout the day were incredible,” said Chamber of Commerce Associate Director Rachel Steedly. “This event showcased the very best of our community and demonstrated what can be accomplished when organizations, businesses, volunteers, sponsors, and public agencies work together toward a common goal.”

The City of Paris worked closely with the Chamber of Commerce and numerous community partners to support the event through public safety, public works, logistics, infrastructure, and event operations. The success of Tennessee River Jam was made possible through months of planning and the collective efforts of sponsors, volunteers, city staff, first responders, vendors, and community organizations.

City officials also praised the professionalism and coordination of the many agencies and departments involved in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for attendees.

While the immediate economic impact of thousands of visitors supporting local businesses is significant, community leaders believe the long-term benefits may be even greater.

“Events like Tennessee River Jam help introduce new visitors to Paris and create positive experiences that leave a lasting impression,” said City Manager Kim Foster. “The exposure our community received this weekend is invaluable and will continue to benefit our city long after the final note was played.”

The City of Paris extends its sincere appreciation to the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce for organizing the event, as well as to the sponsors, volunteers, businesses, performers, public safety agencies, and community members who helped make Tennessee River Jam 2026 a success.

The event served as a powerful reminder of the hospitality and community spirit that make Paris, Tennessee a special place to live, work, and visit.
