An investigation continues into the death of an 8-year-old child, at the Hermitage Apartments, 189 Old Hickory Blvd., Friday.
Officials with the Jackson-Madison County School System said the boy was a student at Andrew Jackson Elementary School, 211 Old Hickory Blvd., and added the Jackson Police Department was continuing an investigation.
Attempts to reach the Jackson Police Department were unsuccessful.
