Jackson police recovered the gun that was used in Wednesday's shooting and determined the gun was stolen.

After Sadarius Clark, of Jackson, was arrested in Wednesday's shooting, police questioned him. Clark, 18, told investigators where he had put the gun.
Investigators returned to the scene and found a semi-automatic handgun that Clark had stashed beside an air conditioner unit at the 1400 building in Hartland Place Apartments.
Investigators determined that the gun was stolen out of Henderson. Clark is expected to face an additional charge.
Clark was arraigned Thursday in Jackson City Court on charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and evading arrest.
Clark remains in custody at the Madison County Jail on $200,000 bond. His next scheduled court date is at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 in City Court.
At 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, police and EMS were called about a shooting on Tracewood Cove. A 17-year-old girl had been shot in the arm. The girl was transported by
ambulance to Regional Hospital of Jackson.
Clark was identified as the shooter. About 20 minutes after the shooting, police found Clark hiding in a trash bin in Hartland Place Apartments on Old Hickory Boulevard.
Investigators learned that Clark had been involved in a fight at the dead end of Tracewood Cove about an hour before the shooting. Clark left and returned with a gun.
He stood about 100 yards away and fired multiple shots in the direction of where he had been fighting. One of the bullets struck the girl.
