Wyatt’s career has centered on building relationships and creating opportunities across West Tennessee. He previously served as a Field Representative for U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn, working closely with local leaders, organizations, and residents in across the region. As an educator in the Henry County School System, he led theatrical and speech programs that emphasized creativity, collaboration, and student voice.
With a background in both the arts and public service, Wyatt is passionate about strengthening access to music and cultural experiences, especially in rural communities, and supporting the Symphony’s role as a gathering place for connection, creativity, and shared experience.
“James brings a rare combination of organizational skill, artistic sensibility, and deep roots in West Tennessee,” said Paul Haas, Music Director of The Jackson Symphony. “He understands how the Symphony fits into the life of this region, not just as a performing arts organization, but as a community partner. His passion for access, education, and connection aligns beautifully with where we are headed, and I’m thrilled to welcome him to our leadership team.”
