Once the parking lot has been paved, you can look for Zaxby’s Restaurant to open at 1543 S. Highland Ave., hopefully no later that April 1.

The location – once home to Super D Drug Store – will be Zaxby’s third in Jackson.

Zaxby’s also has restaurants at 1155 Vann Drive and 222 Oil Well Road.

According to company officials, the restaurant will be managed by Nick Anderson.

The new restaurant will have seating for about 70, and will hire about 60 new employees.

Dimension Construction Inc. in Memphis built the new facility.
