The Aird family released a statement Thursday on details of the arrangements for Matt Aird’s parents who passed away in a tragic accident Saturday (April 7) which also involved his wife, Bethel Women’s Soccer Coach Misty Aird.
Misty Aird continues to be listed in critical but stable condition in a Memphis hospital.
“We would like everyone to know we have set the final arrangements for Tom and Mary Lou Aird. The wake will be held at Immaculate Conception in Kieler, Wisconsin from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday. The funeral will be held at St. Rose in Cuba City at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 16.
“Our family would like to take this chance to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers during this time.
We greatly appreciate all you have done and offered to do. Our parents were amazing people and will live on in the hearts of many.”
Jenna Mullen of the Bethel women’s soccer team also released a statement concerning a fundraiser for their beloved coach.
“We are trying our very hardest to do whatever we can to help Coach and her family during this tragic time. If you would like to buy a T-shirt or help donate please let us know! As always, continue to be praying for Coach Misty as she is still in the hospital. Her in laws were also killed during the terrible accident so be in prayer of the family for that as well. Thank you for the support.”
