Highlights from the February 2026 Labor Force Estimates

• The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee stood at 3.6% in February, up from 3.5% in the previous month.
• The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States was 4.4% in February, up from 4.3% in January.
• The unemployment rate was under 5% in 79 counties in February.
• Williamson, Macon and Cheatham counties had the lowest unemployment rate at 3.0%. Pickett County had the highest unemployment rate at 6.7%
