Highlights from the February 2026 Labor Force Estimates
- The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee stood at 3.6% in February, up from 3.5% in the previous month.
- The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States was 4.4% in February, up from 4.3% in January.
- The unemployment rate was under 5% in 79 counties in February.
- Williamson, Macon and Cheatham counties had the lowest unemployment rate at 3.0%. Pickett County had the highest unemployment rate at 6.7%
