Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshals need help from the public in locating a Humboldt man who is wanted for outstanding Arrest Warrants.

Marshals say 30-year-old Brewston Cole is wanted for two counts of Violation of Probation after having been originally convicted of narcotics charges. Marshals say they spotted Cole on April 27 walking near his residence on East Mitchell Street in Humboldt. At the time Cole was carrying a small child in his arms. Cole spotted officers and fled into a wooded area carrying the child with him. The child was later recovered a few blocks away unharmed but Cole managed to escape capture.

Marshals believe Cole is still in the West Tennessee area and is receiving help in avoiding capture. Cole is 5’4” tall and 150 pounds.

Cole should be considered armed and dangerous and ask if you have information concerning his whereabouts to please call 731-427- 4661. A cash reward is being offered and all calls are confidential.
