The address – www.jacksonTN.com – remains the same, but the Jackson Chamber, Jackson Downtown Development Corporation, Jackson-Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Jackson Chamber and Economic Development will share a new website that was introduced at the Jackson Chamber, Thursday.
A website is the centerpiece of any type of marketing effort, and brand consistency is equally as important,” Kyle Spurgeon, president/CEO of the Jackson Chamber said. “When you look at Jackson, you will find that consistent brand across all platforms … it’s all in one place and that brand looks consistent.”
Jackson-based Sodium Halogen, cultivated the process for the website by implementing strategic planning sessions for the foundation of the site, and the Bramblett Group, located in Henderson, took on the task of developing and building the massive website.
“Staff members from all four areas have invested a great deal of time, making sure this site not only will meet their audience’s unique needs, but also will allow regional, national and international guests to understand the overall story of Jackson and Madison County,” said Jason Bramblett, Bramblett Group owner. A major goal has been making sure guests can access information in ways most useful for them and addressing their significant shift to mobile use. Chamber, tourism, economic development and downtown team members understand the incredible story they have to share and the importance of telling it well through JacksonTN.com.”
Lori Nunnery, executive director of the Jackson-Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau, said the new website explains what Jackson has to offer visitors from nearby and around the world.
“What we are trying to do is make it easier for people to learn more about Jackson,” Nunnery said. “We saw a tremendous jump the first time we joined forces, and we expect the same thing this time.”
