Two women have been charged in gift card frauds at Kroger

JACKSON, Tenn. – Two women have been charged in gift card frauds at Kroger totaling about $1,500.  Jackson police arrest the two women suspected of scamming the West University Parkway Kroger on out of more than $1,500.

Police have charged Carmella Moss with felony theft. Authorities say Moss and her daughter Maonqua Patrick are accused of quick-talking three clerks into loading $500 on a gift card.  Patrick faces the same charges.

All three incidents happened earlier this month.  Security camera images
from store video surveillance helped identify the suspects.
