Details are limited, but two major accidents in south Jackson has northbound and southbound traffic stalled on U.S. Highway 45 South.
No injuries have been reported.
The first accident was reported about 7:30 a.m., today, on Highway 45 South near the Norton Hill area.
Traffic coming into Jackson from Chester County is being rerouted from Pinson Road to Harts Bridge Road.
The Jackson Police Department is assisting the Sheriff’s Departments from Madison County and Chester County.
