TLR – The Lost Reserve – becomes the first tenant in the The Local, at 10 a.m., Saturday.
Owned by Chase Walker, The Lost Reserve is vintage concert/band T-shirts, vintage sports sweatshirts, hats and shirts.
“The Local,” consists of three separate 300-square-foot facilities, and is located at the corner of West Lafayette Street and North Shannon Street in downtown Jackson.
Presented by the Jackson Downtown Development Corporation, the units will provide physical micro-retail spaces for local entrepreneurs and artisans to sell their goods and develop their businesses in a low overhead environment.
A green space is attached which will accommodate various types of programming to enhance the social aspect of the project.
The development was made possible by a grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
