The Tennessee Titans gave area football fans a glimpse of the 2018 season when their caravan made its annual stop in Jackson, Friday.
Tight end Jonnu Smith and defensive lineman Antwuan Woods joined Mike Keith, the voice of the Titans at Academy Sports & Outdoors during the meet and greet session.
“Jon Robinson, the Titans general manager has had an amazing off-season in free agency and the Draft,” Mike Keith said. “He hired a fantastic young head coach in Mike Vrabel, who in turned has hired a really great staff.”
Mike Vrabel is a former NFL linebacker and was the defensive coordinator of the Houston Texans before he became the franchise’s (Houston Oilers, Tennessee) 19th head coach and fifth since relocating to Nashville.
“Expectations for this team are high, and frankly, they should be,” Keith said. “This is a good football team that has a chance to get better during the year.”
The Titans open preseason play at Green Bay, August 9, and kickoff the regular season September 9, at Miami.
