From the Jackson Police Department –

Investigators with the Jackson Police Department have identified the suspect from a shooting that happened on yesterday at Lowe’s located at 2071 South Highland Avenue.

Thanks to a tipster, Tony Jones, a 26-year-old man, has been positively identified as the shooter.

Jones has been charged with Attempted First Degree Murder. Jones is not in custody and police are asking if anyone knows there whereabouts of Jones to please call the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 731-424-TIPS (8477).
