Jack’s Family Restaurant – construction continues on South Highland Avenue
Management could not be reached for comment, but construction on a new Jacks’s Family Restaurant continues on South Highland Avenue.
The fast-food chain restaurant, known for burgers, fries and milkshakes, acquired property at 1648 South Highland Ave., which is between Wendy’s and the Madison South Shopping Plaza.
Jack’s opened it first location in Jackson, at 157 Parkstone Place on 1.31 acres near the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex in November, 2016.
One year later, Jack’s opened its second restaurant in Jackson at 3180 North Highland Avenue, which is between a Circle K Convenience Store and the Community Bank.
Christian Publishers Outlet holds ribbon cutting ceremony in Towne Center North
Jackson’s new full-service Christian bookstore – Christian Publishers Outlet – held a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8 Stonebridge Blvd., in Towne Center North, Tuesday.
Located next door to ALDI, Christian Publishers Outlet offers Bibles, books, gifts, church supplies, wall art, music, movies and apparel.
Business hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Renovation scheduled for Kroger at 41 Stonebrook Place
Management could not be reached for comment about expansion, but Kroger will begin a complete renovation at 41 Stonebrook Place, in West Towne Commons.
Renovations at the 68,000-square-foot store, which opened in March 1992, will include a new floral shop, refrigeration cases, shelving, freezers, meat cases and flooring.
The store’s parking lot was resurfaced and restriped in early May.
