The consideration of a final plat for The Crossings at Exum Place – Section 1, comprising of 41 lots on approximately 7.84 acres in a RS – Single Family Residential/Planned Residential Development – has been approved by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission.
Located off Ashport Road – between the U.S. Highway 44 Bypass and North Highland Avenue – the development will offer two public streets.
The Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission also approved the final plat for The Crossings at Exum Place – Section 2, comprising of 29 lots on 5.80 acres in a RS – Single Family Residential/Planned Residential Development.
Both offerings were submitted by Surveying Services, Inc., on behalf of The Crossings Partners.

Leaders Credit Union receives financial education award from the Tennessee Credit Union League
JACKSON, Tennessee – Leaders Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative based in Jackson, Tennessee, has won the Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award from the Tennessee Credit Union League. The award was presented in April at the Tennessee Credit Union League’s Annual Convention in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

The Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award celebrates a credit union in Tennessee that is dedicated to ensuring their community has the financial tools and resources they need to excel in their financial health. Committed to providing impactful financial education, the Community Engagement team at Leaders are Certified Financial Counselors through the CUNA FICEP Program and taught 110 financial literacy courses in 2024. These courses were taught to various ages, economic backgrounds, and occupations across West Tennessee.
