Stacy Reeves, a registered nurse at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, was recognized as the West Tennessee Healthcare employee of the month for September, during the West Tennessee Healthcare Board of Trustees monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.

A seven-year employee at West Tennessee Healthcare, Stacy works in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

“This is really exciting,” Stacy said. “And, it’s an honor to be nominated by my co-workers.”

Stacy said she first learned of the award from Donna Gollihugh, the director of the L&D/Neonatal ICU.

Stacy’s family joined her for the presentation, which was made by Tina Prescott, vice president/chief nursing officer.

According to a press release, Stacy is viewed by fellow employees as someone who makes work fun while working well with everyone, and she is “always willing to help out in their unit.”

She is recognized for initiating several fun, new programs in the department for employees, patients, and their families.

An enthusiastic and compassionate team player, the press release states “she is a very deserving employee of this award.”
