Sports Plus Rehab – North holds ribbon cutting and open house at newest location

For more than two decades Sports Plus North has cared for the rehabilitation needs of the community at 85 Stonebrook Place in West Towne Commons.

The trend continues at 1378 Union University Drive in Thomsen Farms after a ribbon cutting Tuesday signaled the opening of a new location for Sports Plus.

“We are not trendy nor chase after the latest fads,” LeAnn Childress said. “Instead, we constantly give our patients our very best each and every day using proven techniques and hard work – and most of all – our caring attitude.”

Childress is the director of Sports Plus Rehab Centers, West Tennessee Healthcare, which offers 14 locations in West Tennessee.

The Sports Plus Rehab Center North facility includes a staff of 11 and 6,000-square-feet of space to provide physical therapy.

“This is a great setup, and yes, overall it is very impressive,” Jeff Dyer, a physical therapist said. “We have the necessary equipment to rehab athletes to their grandparents.”

Sports Plus Rehab Center North services include therapy services for cervical and lower back pain, total knee and hip replacements, rotator cuff and shoulder pain, pelvic health, as well as any sports injuries and screenings for any injury.
