It hasn’t been business as usual at The Bank of Jackson, 420 Oil Well Road, since a water line froze and burst on December 23, 2022.
Water flooded both the first and second floor of the bank, and Brasfield Construction Company, Inc., is piecing the financial institution back together.
All sheetrock has to be removed on both floors and ceiling title have to be replaced.
While customers can’t go inside to do their banking, the drive thru is open.
Other employees at the bank can be temporarily found at The Bank of Jackson’s locations at 558 Carriage House Drive and 132 West University Parkway.
The bank is looking at returning to full service in mid- to late April or early May.
