According to the Multiple Listing Service, new homes for sale in Jackson from January 1 to December 31 stood at 42, compared to 60 for the same period in 2016.

According to the Multiple Listing Service, new homes for sale in Jackson from January 1 to December 31, 2017, stood at 43, compared to 62 for the same period in 2016.

Total homes sold – 1,265 from January 1 to December 31, 2017, compared to 1,235 for the same period in 2016.

Sales for the month of December is 97, compared to 79 in 2016.

The number of homes on the market, which includes all of Madison County, stands at 331, compared to 397 for calendar 2016.

The average sales price of a home in 2017 was $151,862, compared to $143,119 in 2016.
