Preliminary site plans were approved by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission for Chick-fil-A, 3 Stonebridge Boulevard, to move to a new facility on Emporium Drive, during a meeting at City Hall, Friday.
The new location is a 1.726-acre lot once occupied by Chill’s at 2200 Emporium Drive.
Site plan calls for an approximate 5,985-square-foot facility – with 88 parking spaces – to be constructed following demolition of the existing building.
Chick-fil-A is also located at 16 Tinker Hill Road in front of the Old Hickory Mall on the southwest corner of North Highland Avenue and Tinker Hill Road, and inside the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Until they put a much needed traffic light at the Walmart enterance across from Wendy’s moving Chick-Fil-A will not help the traffic problem, it will only make it much worse!
That is diffinately a bad decision. They need to move it out of the congested area where they have room. We don’t need anymore congestion on Van Dr. or Emporium Dr.
