Pickleball fundraiser produces $10,000 for Jackson man who lost home due to fire

A pickleball event was held Saturday and Sunday to raise funds for Eli Curry, a Jackson resident who lost his home in a fire the first week of February.

About 80 people competed – young and old – in men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles at 2940 Old Medina Road.

The event raised approximately $10,000.
