BROWNSVILLE, Tenn.—It could have been much worse than it was. A car, out of control because the driver suffered from a medical issue, crashed into parked cars on the south side of court square in Brownsville this morning just before noon.
The driver became incapacitated and lost control of his car. He remained unconscious until after emergency crews arrived on the scene. The man, who has not been identified, was wearing a seatbelt and airbags also inflated likely sparing him injury. He was taken to an area hospital and sources say he is expected to recover. Sources said he suffered a seizure prior to the wreck.
No one else was hurt. Security video captured what happened.
