West Tennessee may only experience a partial eclipse of the sun August 21, but you will still need eye protection, and Nerdvana, 1923 Emporium Drive, has the solution.
“We’ve order a thousand pairs of eclipse glasses, and it is very important you not look at the partial eclipse with your bare eyes without proper protection,” said Paul Simer, who co-owns Nerdana with his wife, Tracie. “(Glasses) will make it safe to look at the sun without the rays damaging your vision.”
The partial eclipse time is approximately 11:54 a.m. – end time, 2:51 p.m. – Monday, August 21.
Nerdvana, which sells video games, board games, card games and comic books, is located in the same shopping center with Moe’s Southwest Grill – across from Lowe’s on Vann Drive.
Remember, the glasses are free, one pair per customer)
