The Madison County Sheriff’s Department has named Deputy Barry Mosier and Detention Specialist Daniel Birdwell as employees of the month for March.
Deputy Barry Mosier is the March Employee of the Month from the Peace Officers Standard Training Commission (POST). He is a Field Training Officer and an Accident Re-constructionist.
According to a press release, Sgt. Bryan Rushing acknowledged that Deputy Mosier is always willing to train younger Officers and uses his problem solving abilities on the job, which is a valuable asset when re-constructing accidents. He is also noted to have positive and supportive relationships with his co-workers.
Employee of the Month – CJC/Penal Farm/Annex
Detention Specialist Daniel Birdwell is the March Employee of the Month from the Criminal Justice Center.
According to a press release, Jail Operations Supervisor Lt. Leonard Graves recently observed D/S Birdwell’s interaction with three hostile inmates and was impressed with his calm voice and nonthreatening demeanor. He listened intently to the Inmates grievances and replied firmly without giving in to any demands. D/S Birdwell has shown to be an asset to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in our mission to keep the people of Madison County safe and secure.
