The Miss Volunteer America pageant wrapped up its final night of preliminary competition on Friday at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
Hannah Perrigin, Miss Mississippi Volunteer, earned Friday’s preliminary Fitness & Health award.
“Fitness and health is my favorite portion of competition,” said Perrigin. “There is no feeling like walking on a stage, showcasing all of the hard work you’ve put in over the last 11 months and I wish I could do it over again already!”
Faith Whatley-Blaine, Miss Missouri Volunteer, earned the night three preliminary Talent award with her piano performance, Flight of the Bumblebee.
“Although I haven’t taken a piano lesson in four years, this selection came from my love of playing piano and music,” said Whatley-Blaine. “I wanted to make sure I got the entire audience buzzing with the same joy I feel whenever I play piano.”
The 2024 Miss Volunteer America will be crowned at finals on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
