JACKSON, Tenn. (August 19, 2015) – One neighbor checking on another is attacked with an ax handle

Thomas Spaulding’s had his arraignment facing a charge of aggravated assault after allegedly charging toward a neighbor and swinging an ax handle.

Another witness saw what was occurring and was able to restrain Spaulding before he was able to assault the victim

According to the neighbor she heard Spaulding yelling from his front yard and threatening to shoot someone.

The victim said when she spoke to Spaulding he told her to get out of his yard, and then went to his porch, grabbed the ax handle and came after her, the document states.

Spaulding’s’ bond is set at $3,000.
