A crew of 10 Jackson Energy Authority employees are expected to return to Jackson, after working damage created by hurricane Florence in North Carolina.
“Our crews worked the past few days to restore downed lines from the initial hurricane Florence wind damage,” said Monte Cooper, PE Sr. VP Electric Division Jackson Energy Authority, “But now, flooding is the primary problem, because the waters continue to rise and will take some time to recede before further restoration can commence, our crews were released to return home.
“JEA crews should return home today (Wednesday).”
Richie White, Chris Deaton, Adam Phillips, Jacob Myracle, Harvey Ingram, Miller Pounds, Michael Darby, Zack Zehner, Charlie Jones, and Luke Cain – assisted in the storm damage created by hurricane Florence.
