For Asia Garden, 660 Carriage House Drive, the routine was basic, when the Jackson Beer Board met at the City Council Chambers, Wednesday.
The popular restaurant was approved for a beer permit to sell, store and serve beer on the premises where sold.
“All the permits had to be redone (after) moving right across the parking lot,” said Eddie Yeh, an owner of Asia Garden. “We’re working with the City going through the process. It takes a little bit of time sometimes, but the City is always great working with local businesses.”

The Beer Board also approved a request for a permit from Nooruddin Khotea for a business known as Jackson T Stop LLC, doing business as Save N Go, at 2268 Hollywood Drive, for selling, storing and distributing beer for consumption off the premises.
