Jon Holley, has stepped down as Trinity Christian Academy’s Head of School, according an email.
A portion of the letter states –
The Board of Trustees has voted not to renew Mr. Holley’s contract, and he has been asked to step down as Head of School effective Nov. 16th.
Please let me be clear; this is a result of NO wrongdoing on Mr. Holley’s part.
He has done his job with honor and dedication for his tenure. This action is purely the desire for a new season at TCA. The unanimous decision of the Board was the result of countless hours of prayer, discussion, long-term planning, and both internal and external consultation.
We are committed to Trinity’s original mission “to assist Christian families and their churches in providing a Biblically-directed, academically excellent education that equips students to be Godly leaders and servants in their homes, churches, and communities.”
Mr. Holley has provided TCA with six wonderful years in his role as Head of School. He is currently the longest tenured H.O.S in our history. He can be very proud of his time at TCA and we are thankful for all of his accomplishments.
Some may ask why or why now. Quite frankly, we felt this timing to be the most honorable to
Jon and TCA. The time of year schools typically start looking ahead into the next school year and seeking out new leadership is now.
Thus, we felt this the appropriate time to allow TCA to begin seeking out whom the Lord is leading us to and where the Lord will be leading Jon and his family. The Board of Trustees desires only the best for Mr. Holley in the path God has planned for him.
