Jackson Regional Airport Sets Another Passenger Record in July
Jackson Regional Airport posted another record month in July, serving 1,227 passengers.
The total marks the latest high for the airport since commercial service and TSA screening returned to Jackson Regional Airport. Officials say more travelers continue to choose the convenience of flying local rather than driving to larger airports in Memphis or Nashville.
Denver Air Connection currently operates flights from Jackson to Atlanta and Chicago.
Airport leaders have noted steady growth in ridership throughout the year as more West Tennessee residents discover the option of free parking and short drive times to the terminal.
