From the Jackson Police Department –

January 19th, Captain Gause and Harris presented Investigator Robert Pomeroy and Officer Steven Overton with Life Saving Awards.

According to the awards, each officer was noted as going above and beyond in the performance of their duties for the preservation of life of citizens of this community.

These officers timely action in rendering aid and comfort to victims, who appeared at the time to have been mortally wounded, is a testament to their capabilities.

These officers cool professionalism, incident management skills, and exceptional dedication to duty, are a credit to themselves, the police profession, and the citizenry of Jackson, Tennessee.
