Calling it the most difficult decision he has ever made professionally, Jack Peel leaves his position as the head baseball coach at the University School of Jackson, Oct. 31.
Peel has accepted a sales position with BSN Sports, a factory-direct equipment company recognized as the largest distributor of team sports apparel and equipment in the United States.
Peel coached baseball at USJ for six years, and his 2014 squad won a Division II Class A TSSAA state title.
“My six years here was special – the players, the support from the parents of our program, my assistants, teachers, faculty and staff,” Peel said, “The whole USJ community. My son was a freshman when I started coaching at USJ, and the USJ community accepted us.”
With BSN, Peel begins work Nov. 1 as a sales representative covering a portion of Jackson and Memphis.
