The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms a 75-year-old male died Nov. 2, 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 313 in Madison County.

The health department has received positive test results for 39 more cases of COVID-19 since Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021.

We now have 18,365 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 17,688 have recovered.

Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
