Following a three-year absence, and a soft opening Monday, the Green  Frog Coffee Company has returned to Jackson at 1410 Union University Drive in Thomsen Farms.

Besides its signature coffee drinks, The Frog offers one different plate lunch each day, and a wide selection of cupcakes, cheesecakes and Mennonite baked goods.

There’s also sandwiches, salads, homemade soups, smoothies, shaved ice – and 12 different flavors of homemade ice cream.

Owned by Timm Johnson, The Green Frog is roasting coffee on site, delivers and offers catering.

The Green Frog Coffee Company, which was at located downtown at 112 E. Baltimore Street, occupies a 3,517-square-foot building that was home to Hadley’s Restaurant.

Restaurant hours are 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday – closed Sundays.
