Foundation Announces New Donor Management Specialist

JACKSON Tenn  — At a press conference the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation announced the newest addition to its staff.

Beginning on July 27, 2015, Lauren Saliba will join the Foundation as its Donor Management Specialist.

Saliba is a graduate from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and has worked in the healthcare industry for the past five years as a respiratory therapist for Monroe-Carell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and Home Medical Products in Jackson, according to a press release.

Foundation CEO Frank McMeen sais, in her new role, Lauren will be responsible for all aspects of donor management and serves as a liaison with all fund representatives. She also plays a vital role to West Tennessee Healthcare’s annual Willing to Help campaign, serving on the steering committee and managing donor information for campaign giving.

“I am delighted that Lauren will be joining us. The number of responses for this opening was unbelievable. The final interviews were impressive for all candidates. Lauren had qualities that would enable her to connect with donors as well as healthcare providers. She seems to be a perfect fit!” stated Frank McMeen.

The West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation began in 1984 and is an independent community foundation that provides resources for more than 540 charitable interests.

Funds for the staff and general operational expenses come as a gift through West Tennessee Healthcare to encourage charitable giving for good causes. The staff of four provides leadership for three community boards and numerous fundraisers for Foundation-sponsored activities.
