Flag Day, observed annually on June 14th, celebrates the adoption of the American flag by the Continental Congress in 1777.
It’s a day to honor the principles of freedom, unity, and patriotism that the flag symbolizes.
While not a federal holiday, it’s a nationally recognized observance, with many Americans displaying the flag and participating in patriotic events.
Flag Day was an idea that originated from an educator in a small-town in Wisconsin.

June 14th is also the 250th anniversary of the Army. It is sad that that is not more known and celebrated also. Everyone should give pause and ponder where we would be if the Army was not formed. Britian would have won the land battles, the French would have won the seas (maybe)and do not forget the pirates in the South. It was God”s will that we would be a nation of Christian believers Our history is no longer taught, it is a wonder we are still a Republic. God”s Grace.
