Beech Bluff native and South Side High School graduate Greg Goff is in his seventh season as the head baseball coach at Purdue University.

Goff, a 2024 Jackson-Madison County Sports Hall of Fame inductee, has the Boilermakers (37-19) playing UCLA in the Big 10 baseball tournament quarterfinal round at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska.

He was honored by the Hall of Fame for his accomplishments as a collegiate baseball coach and as a pitcher at Delta State University, Jackson State Community College and South Side High School.

Greg Goff joined Purdue baseball as an assistant coach in July 2017 and was promoted to head coach in June 2019. The 2026 season is his 20th as a collegiate head coach.
