Lives are depending on our community right now.
Over the weekend, two local patients required massive, lifesaving blood transfusions. One was treated for a dissected abdominal aortic aneurysm, while another suffered a punctured heart during surgery. Their medical teams acted quickly—but the blood used to save their lives has critically depleted our local blood supply.
Today, we are issuing a Critical Appeal for ALL blood types.
Every donation helps patients in hospitals throughout our region when seconds matter most. The next emergency could happen at any moment, and we need donors to step forward before it’s too late.
If it’s been eight weeks since your last whole blood donation — or if you’ve never donated before — please make today the day.
