JACKSON, TN- The Jackson Fire Department has installed new technology to
provide assistance for better instant response time.

Phase 1 includes the installation of new Mobile Data Terminals installed
at Station 1 and Station 5. This provides dispatch information, route
mapping, hazard materials information, hydrant locations, occupancy
history, and weather data.

JFD Fire Marshall Lamar Childress states, “He hopes the access to instant
information will assist JFD staff in better response to routine and
emergency calls.”
