Jackson, TN — Buchanan Realty Group is proud to announce the recent lease execution at 382 Carriage House Drive, Suite C in Jackson, Tennessee, on behalf of Youth Town, a Christ-centered, faith-based residential treatment facility that has long been committed to helping adolescents overcome substance abuse and mental health challenges.
This expansion marks a significant step forward for Youth Town, as the organization introduces The Refuge — an outpatient counseling and therapy program designed to meet the needs of both adolescents and adults who do not require residential treatment.
The Refuge will officially open its doors at the new North Jackson location on July 1, 2025.
“The Refuge is an extension of our mission to create Irreversible Life Change,” said Mason Cagle, Chief Operating Officer at Youth Town. “Our residential program has always focused on adolescents, but through The Refuge, we will now be able to serve a broader population, including adults, and meet the day-to-day mental health needs of the community.”
The Refuge will offer therapy and outpatient services to individuals ages 7 through adulthood, addressing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, behavioral patterns, and substance abuse.
The program will also provide a critical “step down” option for adolescents transitioning from residential care, offering continuity of support as they reintegrate into daily life. One distinguishing feature of The Refuge will be its commitment to accessibility through insurance coverage, including Medicaid and most commercial insurance plans — a rarity in outpatient mental health services in the area. Mr. Cagle also praised the leasing experience with Buchanan Realty Group’s Broker, Heather Witherspoon.
