Bruins finish off the season with a big W!

On both the men’s and women’s sides, the Bruins dominated the Tipton-Rosemark Rebels!

On the women’s side, the Lady Bruins absolutely dismantled the Rebels 63-16. It was an all around great performance from the squad, as we have come to expect. The defensive intensity was off the charts as TRA struggled to get a shot off all night long. Haylen Ayers once again displayed her talent in an impressive way with another  great game where she had a double double. She never fails to show us why she is so highly respected and recruited. Freshman Ella Sallee also had a great game with 9 points, she was a force in the paint all night long  and with some other younger members of the team she showed the potential the Lady Bruins have for the future.

On the men’s side the Bruins came out hot and never stopped firing, defeating the Rebels 59-39. It was a true team effort with great scoring all around. The leading scorer was senior leader Mills Terry with 16, other contributors included Sam Keyl with 14, and Wallace Driver and Reid Finney with 12. The squad relentlessly drove to the basket and finished strong all night long. They played unwavering defense and put it all on the line in this clinic of great basketball.

Both teams finished the season very strong and will play at home in the first of the Region tournament this week. Be there and be loud, Go Bruins!
